大谷妻の過去語る「友人」X断罪?
The topic “お正月 (New Year’s) in Japan” is a time of great celebration and tradition in Japan. From the weeks leading up to the holiday to the actual day itself, there are a number of customs and practices that are unique to the Japanese New Year.

One of the most important traditions during this time is the cleaning of the house, known as “お正月の大掃除 (o-shogatsu no osoji).” This deep cleaning is believed to rid the home of any bad luck and welcome in the new year with a fresh start. Families will clean every nook and cranny of their house, from top to bottom, in preparation for the holiday.

Another important practice is the decoration of the home with traditional New Year’s decorations. “門松 (kadomatsu)” are bamboo and pine decorations that are placed at the entrance of homes to welcome in good luck. These decorations are believed to bring in health and prosperity in the new year.

On New Year’s Eve, it is customary for families to gather and eat a special meal known as “おせち料理 (osechi ryori).” This traditional meal consists of a variety of dishes that are each symbolic of good luck and prosperity for the coming year. The meal is usually eaten in a specific order, with each dish holding its own special meaning.

At midnight on New Year’s Eve, it is tradition to visit a shrine to pray for good luck in the new year. Many people will also participate in the custom of “hatsumode,” which is the first shrine visit of the new year. Crowds of people will flock to popular shrines to make their prayers and wishes for the coming year.

Overall, お正月 (New Year’s) in Japan is a time of great reflection, tradition, and celebration. From the cleaning of the home to the special meals and shrine visits, the holiday is filled with customs that are passed down through generations. It is a time to welcome in the new year with hope and positivity, and to start fresh with a clean slate.
